Simple yet lackluster, but did serve as a good foundation for the final profile design.

The Center Card Slot - First Design
The center card of a profile is usually the most stand-out card of a player’s profile - the card they are most proud of. So I wanted the center card border to emphasize this, and create a card border design that was as eye-catching.
Initially, the center card border was the same style as the other card borders, but with a gold sheen on it. This was more stylish for sure, but also made it feel “tacky”, so I felt this could be improved a lot more.

Center Card - Final Design
I went with a Black and Gold color scheme for the center card. This color scheme is typically used for premium & designer styles, so it fit well with the desired goal of making the center card the main attraction.
Even though black and gold is not a color scheme seen in Persona 5’s visual design, I felt that these colors complemented well with the overall design of the profile, and does not feel too off or out-of-character.
Profile Statistics Section
The text in the profile statistics are coded and set to a specific font-size and color, meaning text aspects were out of my control, so the profile background would have to fit and make the text legible. In its initial design, I thought the shades of red behind the text would be enough contrast, but after some user testing, I realized it was still rather hard to read. So in the final design, I decided to reference the dialogue text box styles from the game, and implement it into the statistics section, leading to much more legible text.
